- Our fish are spawned and raised in our own fishroom. They are fed a variety of high quality live and prepared foods. Our water is extremely hard from all of the limestone in the area which will help the fish acclimate to a wide range of water hardness. Unless otherwise stated, fish for sale are unsexed juveniles and male|female ratios are not guaranteed. Size estimated based upon total length (TL) measured from tip of nose to tip of tail and is not guaranteed.
- We guarantee live arrival. We take pride in raising high quality fish and their well-being is our top priority. Once your order is paid, your fish will be held for at least 48 hours without food before they are shipped. This allows an opportunity for the fish to purge their digestive system which reduces the amount of waste produced in the shipping bag. We take great care in bagging and packing them for delivery to your door. Fish are only shipped Monday through Wednesdays (except on holidays) to prevent additional time in shipping over a weekend. In the rare event of a DOA (Dead On Arrival) we will replace the fish if possible or provide a refund for the cost of the fish. If this occurs, we require a clear picture of the fish in the original bag as proof of the loss. Due to many circumstances out of our control, no other guarantees are stated or implied. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser for any replacements.
- We offer shipping via UPS and utilize their Simple Rate (flat rate) service when possible. Your fish will be delivered in a heavy duty cardboard box with insulation and a heat pack as appropriate for weather conditions. If you have questions on shipping, please contact us at kenstropicals@gmail.com. We also offer an option for local pick up at select events or in person meeting in Harrison, Ohio.
